| Dressed to Thrill - Blypuff Style! Sing a song of sixpence - Pocket full of rye Historically, blackbirds weren't the only birds that got baked; blypuffs became pie filling, too. Then, the great blypuff hero, Yektah, survived a baking by playing dead and then rising out of the crust when the cook wasn't looking. This escape is the source of an inspirational legend among blypuffs and Yektah is a hero. Today, young male blypuffs appear in pie crust to remind the young females of the clever and heroic Yektah. The appearance of the males in the crust is quite thrilling to the females and represents a rite of passage. It is commonly known as the Great Blypuff Pie Bluff. Jane Arnal
