The Grombolian
Blypuff was thought to be a mythical bird until a covey was sighted in 1955.
According to myth, the Blypuff outsmarts its enemies. It acts like a chicken,
squatting down in puddles in the rain. When a fox or a weasel approaches, the
Blypuff imitates a pundit and uses large vocabulary words such as "gonfalon" or
"analemma." The perplexed predators would slink away. This story
was immortalized when it was told as "How the Blypuff Got its Lexicon".
