Myrthful Creatures Across Space and Time have taken to the road, air, water and tunnels of their various lands to go visiting. Learn more about exactly why we call this "Cartes-de-Visite" by going to Page 1 of this Myrthful project. |

| Out of the Luminescent
forest, Longtail Blue races toward Makara, the Meerkat, singing
songs of wildness to her. Blue is donning the new scarf and sidepack purchased after
the fashion show, and brings gifts to Makara, the Meerkat - snazzy new shades and the
fashionable beret. Also tumbling out of Blue's sharp, new pack is that most
pleasurable herb grown in the deepest parts of the Luminescent Forest. Blue thought
Makara might also enjoy the lovely backscratcher, carved from the ancient Blackwood.
Makara certainly catches the spirit of wildness, as she lightly flies along with Blue,
barely touching the Longtail's mane. Mary Godfrey and Janis Doucette Sexton

| Makara, the Meerkat, continues
her adventures by going to visit Queen Goose. Makara brings a
ceremonial wall hanging as a gift and Queen Goose welcomes the famous and beautiful
Makara, rolling out the red carpet and presenting her with a new necklace. It is
clear that other creatures from Planet Pictia also came to greet and offer gifts to their
special guest. Jenny Hunter Groat and Mary Godfrey

| Here we see Drakedog and Rabbitmage
welcoming Wizard Lizard with refreshing, fresh papaya juice. It
looks as if there are many red, yellow and orange items adorning Wizard Lizard's headgear.
Could they be beets and carrots and dog biscuits? Janice Bryant and Burning Rubber

| Having heard that
Grombolians are fond of pie, Webfoot sets out with an example of one of her
own favorite foods to share with Blypuff. Pie is always excellent for
energizing - especially when accompanied by a latte... The Blypuff is preparing a feast for Webfoot - candle light, his best Wedgewood dishes and corn and eggplant all to compliment the pie brought by Webfoot. After dinner, they can tell each other bird tales and watch Hitchcock's The Birds on video! Jane Arnal and Diana Hammond

| Your Basic Utility Breed Chicken,
surrounded by a feast of corn and grasses and dressed in her best glittered feathers,
welcomes Queen Goose, who comes bearing seeds as a gift for her host.
YBUBC tells all about the visit, "Peck a little, talk a little, Peck a little, talk a
little... Cheep, cheep, cheep! Talk a lot - peck a little more... [Did we ever have
fun!]" The two friends' carte de visite card came carefully wrapped in an
envelope covered with downy feathers, to protect it along its way to Webfoot's
burrow. Martha Bickford and Jenny Hunter Groat
