Sound and Music Files

Our most recent music files are in the choristers-only section of Côr Cymry's site, since we, as a choir, have permission to use these files, but they are not to be made available to the general public. In the past, we have used this section of the site primarily to share personal articles, letters and photos among choristers, but it has been a while since we used it. If you are an active chorister and can't remember where this section is located, contact me and I'll give you the information you need! Thanks for understanding that we must respect those giving us permission to download their music in this way and please do not compromise the choir by using this music in any other fashion. --Diana

Much of our newer music is available for download in Adobe PDF format. In order to access these files, you will need two things. First, you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader which you can download for free from Adobe's website. Then, with this reader, you will be able to download and print your musical score.

Be sure to contact Diana Hammond if you have trouble downloading the music and sound files.
Happy Singing!!

In order to listen to the early sound clips from the choir's original repertoire, you will need  Real Audio Player  version 5.0 or better.  Different versions of the player are available from the Real Audio website.

Point your browser to the Real Audio Download Page.  Choose "Real Player" and select your operating system, processor speed and type of internet connection when the form comes up.

There are now .zip versions of each of the part recordings accessible from each page.   You can download these, unzip them and save them to your hard drive so that you can have access to them, whether you're connected to the internet or not!

Sound Files - Early Repertoire

Mari Morgan's voice can guide choristers through difficult to pronounce words and passages in our music!  All Soprano and Alto vocal parts are posted and available for download.  Tenor and Bass parts, sung by Arwel Treharne Morgan, are recorded and posted for each of the pieces below.  Check back for .zip versions which will be available for download soon!

The music and lyrics for choir practice are published here with the express permission of Curiad, the publisher, and with our gratitude!
